I know this is a wierd site to comment on this, but its just an everyday situation for me.

I'm a big guy, dress very masculine deep raspy scratchy voice, drive a truck (a real one, not one of the ones that DON'T say FORD on the grill), build hot rods, carry 2 (3 if you wanna be funny) guns and got 59 others at the house, skull ring on my right hand, little gov work under my belt. and yet when people ask me my favorite band and i say the goo goo dolls they always wait for the punch line. when the comment on how soft my hands are and i go on about how hard it is for mingh my manacurist to get em smooth the same thing happens...... just like when i talk about my garden or the books i read........

aside from the obvious cases where stupid fucks misjudge you constantly, black guys and gay guys can any relate to this
