I am only 21 but I too am very hairy. Hairy enough to have always had someone in the showers tell me I am hairy. I don't really think of other guys as being hairy or unhairy. It just doesn't come to my mind if I see them shirtless or as far as that goes, naked in the showers. Although the hair on my chest is so thick that my skin does not show through, I tried to trim it with some of those electric trimmers. I cut about 1/4 inch off and I think it does look a little better than just being wild looking. My hair is curly and doesn't just stick out of my shirt. I have never trimmed my pubic hair however. I don't want to appear any larger than I already am so I just leave it be. I had a man tell me once at the gym that he trimmed the hair above his dick so it would make his dick look longer. I am not sure why he told me that but, he was looking at me and my dick is apparently longer than average. He was probably trying to see if I would make a comment and I just let it go...I guess the hair thing is just everyone's individual preference. Doesn't really come to my mind if I see a guy shirtless or naked. It is just him and that is the way he is. I do know I don't like a hairy woman. I saw a girl at the beach this past summer and she had hairy armpits and legs and that just didn't appeal to me. One of my friends told me we should hook up and have little apes together. Ha, Ha....

Aesthetics are always a matter of personal tastes, of course, but I prefer men to look natural in respect to their body hair. If a man is naturally smooth, then I find that to be a great look, but if he is naturally hirsute, I think he looks sexy by letting himself be hairy. Granted, depending on the volume, length, and distribution of hair, some manscpaping is an enhancement.

I found this guy who did waxing for a lot of gay men out of his home as an extra job. Surprisingly, it did not hurt all that much. When he worked his way down as far south as my groin area, he offered for me to pull down my pants and let him keep going. I declined. He was very nice, and he warned me several times that blonds and redheads tended to break out. By the time I got home, my chest and abdomen had already broken out in a raised acne-like red rash. The rash took over two weeks to go away. Not one of my better experiences.

Not about "looking longer, bigger" etc., but I would love to find a bud, here in San Antonio, that would talk about, work on some trim-work. I'm not hairy, but my crotch gets a bit unruly, and a trim session, ,,, relaxed, real, honest, comfortable would be so nice.

Being a very hairy guy myself, I feel the need to maintain. The back gets waxed, along with the cheeks, and crack. The balls, shaft are shaved dailey, as well as above the rod, makes for a better looking (larger) package, but I never trim the pubes! The chest is just trimmed ever so much as to make it lie down and have no curl! Works for me, and the feeling of freshly shaved balls, to me is like no other. And one more thing! Try shaving your pitts! It's amazing, 90 % of the sweatt and odor will be gone, try it!
I work part time in a gym and have learned to shave my arms pitts. A lot cleaner and dryer. I also shave everything else except my chest. More hygenic, feels and looks good.
I prefer to keep myself as nature intended. I am moderately hairy and the only hairy area of my body I trim are my pubes and my beard. Everything else is left to grow as will and I am not ashamed of it.
