What is preferential? I typically trim, but is there a reason to do more/less?

I saves it all except for a landing strip. It's more hygenic and I really enjoy the way it feels to be shaved.

I trim back the bush occasionally and take my beard trimmer to my patchy (and nearly white) chest hair, but find the shaved look to be unattractive, personally.

I usually let it all grow naturally but recently got together with an old GF who gave great head so I trimmed and she loved it. It's all personal preference and there's nothing unhygenic about a natural bush if you shower regularly!
