It’s a hyperbole, dear, used for comedic effect. Obviously there are *some* pictures of the two (otherwise the whole relationship-hypothesis would be more of a conspiracy hypothesis), but 1) never in any type of interaction that might somehow be construed as more than friendly, and 2) in social gatherings where both are present, his bf is nearly always almost glaringly absent.
E.g. all the photographs Manu posted during Christmas - multiple festivities - where Rafael was the only one never seen, although photographs by others did, in fact, show him there. The one pic that settled the debate for me, was “the” Christmas dinner where Manu’s mother and siblings were all there (+ some other people) with one empty chair next to Manu.
The bloke @Justvibingtbh earlier shared - was also there (with his girlfriend, I believe) and *he* posted a pic that didn’t show Manu, but DID show who was in the other empty chair: Rafael.

Despite my involvement in this thread, I know very little of television “stars” in general, and I’ve actually never watched Élite. I was just fascinated by his placement in the media (as well as the fact that he’s stupendously photogenic). But those people are what I called “mother + siblings” (I thought they were M’s sisters?). There was this Fabrizzio chap as well, a lass who’s the former’s girlfriend (?) as well as a … singer (?). And like you said, no idea who the elderly chap was.
Funny and stalkerish detail: these pictures were taken in the home where Manu made several of his shower photos. Which probably makes it either his mum’s home, or his (theirs ). I‘m inclined to believe it’s his, actually.
