tall, it seems you dont know shit about how much GW stimulated the economy. His tax cuts lead to growth that was not expected. you can think what you want, when clinton left office the economy was about to tank, then we got his with 9/11 which crashed the market.
On Jan. 22, 2001, when President George W. Bush took over the White House, the Nasdaq was in the midst of a post-dot-com freefall. Bush had the bad luck of taking office just before the economy went into a recession that March. But after a mini downturn, the American economy experienced a period of recovery and expansion, with the gross domestic product growing at a steady clip and productivity surging 22%. - Business Week
listen, do i think everything bush did was right? no, i do not, but put yourself in his shoes when 9/11 happened. the house vote was 296-133, and senate vote was 77-23...looks like enough dems voted to go to war too. when obama says he didnt vote for the war, no shitting, he wasnt even a senator to be able to vote. What would have happened if Obama was president when 9/11? Would he have said sorry to the families of the terrorists because they died on american soil?
Now do I think we need to cut back on military spending, yes we do, but not at the expense of the security of our borders. Not at the expense of the medical benefits of the people who served and protected this country.
Should every citizen have some type of medical benefits? Yes I do, but why is it easier for an illegal to get benefits in this country then someone who was born and raised here?
We can ALL agree there needs to be a lot of changes in this country. We need our elected officials to work on the same page instead of always going against the other just for the sake of it. It is viewed as a Us vs. Them thing....it should be a "Working towards whats best for americans"
