He ran as a centrist. Thats how he got elected - among other things such as Hillary's HUGE blunder to not allow Florida or Michigan to vote, and the fact that the Jeremiah Wright debacle did not break until after the Ohio primary among others. But people like Sean Hannity were right all along. zHannity warned very early during the primary that even though he is trying to sell himself as a centrist, he was rated the most liberal congressman. It seemed crazy at the time, but since the hostile takeover of the banks, the auto industry and now the health insurance industry and college loans, etc, etc, its clear he was really the most liberal candidate. He's a communist and I don't mean that as slander. Its just a simple fact. Some people like communism. If you do Obama is your man!

Hostile takeover???!!! The banks and auto makers came BEGGING for a bailout. The AMA and many insured and non-insured are happy about insurance. If it weren't for the bank and auto bailouts, we'd probably be looking at 40% of our businesses failing and 25% unemployment. We'd be spending our days in lines for soup. It has happened before.

Oh, and a hostil takeover of student loans. Getting millions more out of the pockets of bankers and into the hands of students. Imagine, actually getting aid set aside for students actually getting to them. I know such practices must seem strange after 8 years of George Bush. You know, providing a prescription benefit by giving away millions to pharmaceutical compapnie, fighting a war by giving millions to Hallitburton, and, my favorite, subsidizing the oil companies so they could charge me $3.75 for a gallon of gas.

America has been on the brink of civil war for the past 200 or so years it seems, you could have a good one with the religious nutjobs, the right wing militia, the rest of the crazies on one side and the sane people on the other, battle it out with tactical nuclear missles and see what's left at the end.I don't think the religious nutjobs or the right wing militia would be greatly missed.
Mind you an America taken over by the reilgious nutjobs and right wing after a civil war is all too frighteningly possible.

If the military is called upon to 'defend the Constitution' against 'DOMESTIC enemies', it will be against nutjobs like you and your teabagging friends, who ignorantly and ironically threaten violent overthrow of a constitutionally elected government, whose constitutionally enacted policies have got you all ready to explode. Again ironically, what you and your 'next time we come with guns' mob threaten is treason, dumbfucks!

As a recent Veteran, I can't tell you how much I would Immediately get back in uniform to defend our united states without question and follow order with extreme prejudice, and the government knows who we are, I would simply get a phone call, then Written Orders would follow telling me where to report to, and this is a reason I would Die for!!!!!!, the Civillian Population has no clue, what our government is prepared to do in such cases...does KENT STATE RING ANY BELL'S!:..A CIVILLIAN UNDER INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW IS A PERSON/S WHO **IS NOT A MEMBER OF HIS OR HER COUNTRY'S ARMED FORCES** and there is currently 2.87 Million Veterans( thats active and inactive) who have sworn to uphold and protect out Constitution of the United States of America both Foreign and DOMESTIC!!!!!!!!!, Excuse me Fat Lazy, Carpooling, American Idol watching, government complaining, Gordon Gecko greed is good, Over Pampered...and did I say LAZY.....AMERICANS...THIS WOULD BE A LOPSIDED BLOOD BATH OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS!!!!
