Yeah throughout the entire video Mark looked so heartbroken and sad all the while Ethan was the one so nonchalant carrying the conversation like they were discussing their favorite restaurant chain closing. From that alone I'm assuming that Ethan ended it.

I think the break up is genuine and probably a long time coming. They built a brand and seem to make decent money from it all (neither has had a conventional 9-5 job as far as I'm aware), so I think they maybe only stayed together this long because it was beneficial for them financially.
