Posts like this raise so many questions about how/why you would espouse such bizarre ideas. Were you molested? Are you a molester? It's difficult to understand how someone would say what you've said if there isn't some personal disruption in your life. I hope not. If so, though, seek counseling. And maybe seek counseling even if not, because the view you express is borderline sociopath.

Well, let’s walk through that.
We don’t know if the sexual feeling toward children started before or after he first downloaded illegal porn, but for argument’s sake let’s say it did.
Before he downloads the first illegal porn he has the inappropriate thoughts and wants to get help. What does he do? Who does he tell? Family? How do you tell a family member you’re sexually attracted to children? Hell, we all know what coming out as gay is like. Telling someone you love that you are aroused by kids probably seems impossible. So...then what? Therapist? Maybe. Again, the overwhelming guilt, the fear of rejection, the fear of it getting out and everyone knowing, ending his career, etc. Is this what he should have done? Absolutely, but it must have felt impossible.
Now, AFTER he downloads the first picture or video of illegal porn, what does he do? He can’t tell a therapist. They’re mandated reporters and any professional he tells will have to call the police and report the downloading as a crime. I can’t imagine it’s an easy decision to decide to tell a professional, knowing it was going to put you in jail, end your career, break your family ties, and make you wind up on a sex offender list for the rest of your life. Any family members or friends he tells would disown him and most likely call the police. He could destroy his hard drive (which is also apparently a crime, since it’s destroying the evidence of a crime), but without help...would his own willpower be enough to stop?
How do these people get help for thoughts they can’t control, especially after they’ve crossed a huge legal line by downloading? Writing them off as monsters and saying “chop their balls off” and just straight up “kill’em!” is unhelpful. Suicide shouldn’t be the solution.
I don’t know what the solution is, but I think there IS one out there for someone smarter than me to come up with. Following the natural impulse of “they can’t be helped, fuck’em” is stupid and inhuman. All of these people were children once too. They’re someone’s son or daughter. In every other aspect of their lives they could be outstanding citizens. Good, kind people. Except for this one sick compulsion...they could be just like you or me.
So yeah, I think it’s sad. *shrug*

I don’t think anyone in this thread has said it isn’t disgusting. It’s an obsession he didn’t choose to have though, which was my point. So spitting on his grave and saying you hope he rots in hell is crappy, IMO, and it ignores the reality that there are literally millions of people like him. Should they ALL kill themselves? If your answer is no, then I direct you to my initial post.
