It’s very difficult to get real numbers on queerdom because sexuality is so varied and individual, because anyone can embrace whatever identity, because of fluidity and chosen lifestyle, because how wide the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum is. But yes, I’d wager that around half of dudes with queer dimensions are either closeted or are “out” but still contend with a lot of internalized phobias, queer insecurities, homo resentments, masculine fragility, etc. This forum is just more proof of that. But you seem basic and a bit crazy. So, no point in engaging with you.

He just sent a message on OF that he was shutting down his free account and everyone would have to subscribe. But the subscribed account hasn't posted anything good lately.

Very sad and true. Not everybody processes things the same. It’s important to be kind towards things like this because you never know

I went through conversion therapy as well at 15-17. My parents are devout Jehovah’s Witnesses. It was rough and torturous. Marvin obviously has the upmost respect for his parent and he seems want to be happy but want to have them as part of his happiness.

Their heavy religious beliefs must be playing in his religious rebirth that we’re seeing on his social media accounts. Hopefully he can be himself once again and embrace his sexuality without hesitations and limitations. It’s tough, believe me but he’ll be so much happier.

SIN. Marvin's parents or any parent who would torture their child to make them heterosexual need to realize that they too have some sin in THEIR lives. Your parents & Marvin's parents might not be gay but they're guilty of some kind of sin, we all are, the fact that we are clothed in human flesh makes us all sinful and only Jesus' blood hides our sins from God the Father.

I think it's awful that a parent would allow their child to go through such therapy. Who are the people doing the converting? Do you realize that they also commit sin??? Why aren't THEY enrolled in some type of conversion therapy to take away THEIR guilty stain?? The person who is without sin, cast the first stone.

I think you misunderstood the point. They were saying there’s no evidence of Marvin being homophobic.

though to be fair, I don’t know that anyone else was saying he is. Just that it’s sad and frustrating to watch him flip back and forth between self acceptance and acquiescence to (presumably) his family’s wishes

I really don't even think it is that...I feel he made the money he wanted/ was going to make and left (my guess is he'll give it one more shot once he needs a steady cash flow/lump of investment money). I think he just chose to clean up his image bc things got good for him v. diving into delivering content that would make him a steady source of income on OF. Given he could simply chose to be religious and open about his sexuality and find a lucrative career in that, but he'd probs need help navigating those waters
