I routinely get massges, mainly deep tissue. I'm traveling and am going to a spa that offers lomi lomi massage. Has anyone ever had one?

no I want too, I have had swedish, deep tissue, reiki, and rolfing massages. I love massages. But I am unemployed right now and so I welcome someone to rear end me when I am at a stop light.

Lomi Lomi is the only form of massage that I don't have any muscle tenderness the next day. You'll love it. Really relaxing! You're lucky you found a spa that offers authentic lomi lomi. Outside of Hawaii I haven't found one anywhere near where I live.

It is similar to Esalen..long flowing strokes with an emphasis on the spiritual connection
