First, the premise of "edging" (delaying ejaculation) is a learned skill....it takes practice.
I think the length of time during an "edging" session could hinge upon how recently you last ejaculated.

anyway, there have been times when i go for at least 2 hours before i cum once(all the while hard)... but this only happens if i want it to happen, which isnt often. also, when ive done this, i have to cum again and again, probably between 2 and 4 more times, but i try to get these out quick because it feels really good to cum over and over again in succession(at least for me). this has all been done while jacking off, but id like to see what i can do when i have sex eventually... i hope i can perform near to these numbers, but if not oh well

If you are experiencing difficulty in achieving climax (which is different than "edging") you may be "over-using" your system--meaning that if you are masturbating excessively and "shooting" as well, too--then you may need time for the body to "rebuild its juices" so to speak. Often, in adolescence, many guys masturbate a number of times during the day ( I remember I did quite often; -- three, four, sometimes even more than that daily!) --It tends to eventually limit your ejaculations and affect the strength of your climax.

mr17yearold: i dont have difficulty in climaxing, it just takes a long time... and i dont j/o that often, maybe once a day if i can fit it in. on the norm, it takes a minimum of 30 mins to cum, even if im trying very hard to get it off, guess its the way im built, and no, i dont practice edging, it just happens... while j/o i dont get those points where im about to cum and i stop, so what i do isnt considered edging. when i do cum though it is alot...though ive never measured it... i think i might sometime
