Dude, you can't just make up meanings for gay archetypes just because you want to. You can call him daddy all you want, but he is NOT a 'daddy' in any sense of the word.

Older gays actually did define its use in the gay community, sooo... yeah. It was used to define an older gay man who took interest in younger gay men, played out a father-son dynamic with him, and usually provided material things for him.
