So I want to understand how this works so that I’m careful in the future because I had a picture removed, which I don’t understand why because I thought the policy was “if u make a claim on here it needs to be supported by evidence” ? Right?

a user comments: I wonder how he’s able to travel to Brazil

me: well he gets to go on trips with wealthy gay men

lpsg: “u can’t make such a claim especially without any proof”

me: provides clear proof of a wealthy gay man who flew him in

mods: removes proof

me: confused

so I’m asking, are we just not allowed post ANY pics of him or provide supporting evidence to the claims we make if it includes a picture of him. Like how does this work, especially when the picture is not HIS pic, but he just happens to be in it. Like really want to know how this works so I don’t cause any violations.

This isnt about pictures, and Im not going to dispense legal advice Im not qualified to, but if you're going to insinuate that someone is doing a certain type of work when they are not, just based on the fact that you saw them in public with someone, then you're likely to open yourself up to libel issues.

We have rules that every member agrees to, and not spreading lies about people is one of them. I have to enforce those rules and satisfy reports when they are sent to us. That's really the bottom line of it.
