never heard of it let alone tried it
but intriuged sarge
personally i would try it if safe, small quantity of course and non addictiive a must

reminds me of mates in Aus
our end of easy going experimental era,in particualr coined organic ow ha
anyway 2 types of magic mushrooms, known to grow abundantly in that area
bue meanies/god tops
tried a couple of each, some straight from steaming cow shit

1/2 an hour later hallucinatory worked ok
ie
white horse in paddock close by had veis that semmrd to show blood pulsating thru it etc
non existent BIG rabitts not peni tho

was fortunately a good experience/heard theres bad ones huh
but
only happened if you let yourself go and imagined things

i would consider using it if younger, healthier, knowing a young/helthy ody may be able to fight off the/a small quantity

ps
a seemig related toit 'flashback' 6 months or so later ,bvack here
ie
a blue tounge lizard slithering down the vehicles dash behind the speedomneter, was a little unexpected/alarming even
stating
'did you see that' ever helped
smile

travelling into a local town at dusk, lighting etc just right re conditions i suppose brought it on

Wow, a LICENSED therapist recommended that?

MDMA was originally conceived as a “Marital Aid” for couples who no longer felt intimate. It was intended to help them feel more lustfully towards each other by making a chemical compound that synthesized the “pleasure hormones” that the brain releases, when something pleasurable occurs, be it a taste, smell, sight, sensation.

The horrific downside of this medication is that the center of the brain that produces the pleasure hormones goes dormant in the presence of the synthesized chemical, and with continued regular usage, will SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY, IRREVERSIBLY. Blocking users from feeling any sort of pleasure ever again, without the use of the compound.

As such, as far as I know, it is one of the few drugs universally illegal in every developed country in the world!

Use at your own risk...

You do your thing and I'll do mine. I wasn't seeking your input.

Horrific downsides? Hilarious. Look around you humans are destroying the planet.

I thought about this for a bit. I question any medical professional who would recommend an uncontrolled substance to a patient, regulations aren't perfect but they do matter. I know this directly as a person working in the medical cannabis industry. What we provide to patients is *much* less potentially harmful than what you get on the streets. And I have been using cannabis way longer than it's been legal *anywhere* in the US, even as medicine.

I would never tell a patient "if we don't have what you're looking for, maybe go see your street dealer".

Having said that, I do think MDMA has significant potential to be utilized as medication for people suffering from clinical depression. Same with mushrooms (psilocybin)

Edit: I will recommend other dispensaries to patients if we don't have what they need... It's not about the money.

As for whether or not I've tried it, I actually haven't. I probably would have back in the day if I'd had access to it, I did party a lot in my younger years. Too much.

It wasn't one of the regularly available substances on the street back then here where I live and there was absolutely NO available lab tested product.

So, all I have are second hand experience from a few friends who traveled a bit more than I have.

I should have been clear. I do check on what I buy. I would not take anything from some random person on the street. And never powder form as it can be anything.

That said my experience with my partner was amazing. It relieves you of baggage you never thought you had. We both did it for the first time together and it's something we both will always have and cherish. The walls, the borders, the fences we put around ourselves all vanished. It lets you be vulnerable and open and uncaring about protecting the self, the ego. And the point is to remember how that felt and replicate it without the drug.

I wasn't always so responsible.

Now? Never. I wouldn't get anything from the street, but I used to mix and match. I am and always will be an addict.

Now, the only substances I use are cannabis related. My fella and I are even quitting drinking all together. It's time.

At my age I can no longer tolerate booze. Two drinks and I'm done. The bad exceeds the good after two or three drinks. I'm doing the flip. Most experimented young I'm trying it now when I'm old.

I tried ecstacy a few years ago, it has a dramatic effect with the removal of inhibitions, it's really quite a pleasant drug that makes you friendly and extrovert with everyone.
There is a hangover the next day and you can build up a tolerance requiring more pills to get the same effect.

I prefer psilocybin mushrooms, LSD and DMT though, they are non addictive, the effects are much more profound and leave you with a positive buzz for months after consumption. Microdosing with these substances might also provide the effect you seek:
