I force myself not to hide it away but then even my girlfriend has noticed these changes and she more often makes her remarks. Here's something to try that really adds to the "measuring experience." Have your lady* measure your girth with a cloth tape. Once you have the number, take the tape and measure her wrist. I think you will be surprised how often the measurments are pretty close. It's kind of a thrill for both parties. A lot of errors get made in measuring length, but there is no mistaking "he is as thick as my wrist."
