Personally I dont notice any difference in size really, only based on body fat level or bloat and NBP varying.
One thing I will say is that my girth at about 80 percent erect seems slightly more than my erect girth.
Same here, NBP length is the only thing that fluctuates at all for me really. And that can vary with minor things like slight constipation, bloating, etc. Sort of the way your weight and height are different when you first get up compared to when you go to bed.
Now sometimes it LOOKS like my girth is much different depending on arousal level and stage, or with edging and so on. But what looks like a big difference is maybe 1/8 of an inch. I’ve measured. Many times. Maybe there’s at max a range of 1/4 inch in girth. Typical measure, underaroused -1/8, and superaroused +1/8.
Also my semi flaccid hang looks much heavier and thicker than my erection and would actually measure bigger since as had been discussed here your length measurement is going to be longer pointing down compared to straight out. Basically with a semi I look like John Holmes but with a full erection I look like Johnny Sinns. My observations of my own dick lead me to a couple thoughts on this thread and our guesstimates.
1. I think people overestimate how much measured girth makes a difference in comparisons. Even 1/4” can look like a huge difference. My max super erection that is at most 1/8 bigger than my typical measurement looks and feels much meatier. A lot of the analysis here comes down to something like “Guy A has a 5.5 girth dildo. Guy B is smaller so he must be 5.25. Guy C was in a scene with Guy B and he was a little smaller so he must be 5.” Well there is a huge difference between a 5” girth and a 5.5” girth. And the visual difference between a 5 (which is still slightly above average) and 6 is massive. It’s probably like a comparing a legit 8 length to a 6, as far as one being obviously much larger. Also a lot of the longer thinner guys people just want to throw out 5 or 5.25 as pencil girths but it really isn’t. Some of these 6.5- 7 guys who look very long have tiny head/glans and very narrow shafts. I would be surprised if some are sub-5.
2. Some guys are making too many excuses for their porno penis heroes when presented with measurements and reasonable analysis. You know like when some chick starts the ruler at the 3 inch mark and the guy barely touches 10. So some of us conclude “well 10-3= 7. This guy is a solid 7-inches.” But that’s not acceptable if your big dick idol measured less than expected. You have to be like “no bro. He must have a low erection quality. Maybe he’s 70-80%” well, even if the guy is 70% erection that doesn’t mean 70% of his max size. I don’t really believe most people fluctuate that much with erection quality. Maybe 1/4 inch in either direction (talking about a soft erection or very pumped semi here, not from cold flaccid to full mast). It seems like more because in reality a 1/4 inch IS a lot. When we hold our own dicks and look at them a small measurement like 1/4-1/2 makes a huge difference. So even giving some guys a little extra due to erect ion quality and the difficulty staying hard with a ruler or tape, it’s probably a very small variance.
