Pretty common. It’s the same in most men, but a significant minority of men are either around a quarter inch under or over in either direction. In guys with any sort of erection issues, stretched will tend to be longer. In guys who do PE, stretched is always longer. Erect is longer in a large number of healthy men who don’t do PE.

He does have a fat pad, as he's clearly pushing into it. That said, I don't think the starting point is clearly shown. it almost looks like it starts at 2" but I think that's shortchanging him some as I see visible dick behind that but the angle and color of his dick and pubes makes it hard to see a clear start of his dick to me. So I think it's hard to say other than a range somewhere in the 7s.
I think the curve and girth give him less visual size. Also something about his physique. It seems like with that size you either need to be jacked with girth or a very straight dick like Sins, or you need to look like those dudes (Jordi I think is one of the names but there are a couple others) who looks like a very tiny teenager with a huge dick. Sins (at his peak at least) was ripped with decent size and a very straight dick.
