Most people (even with a good eye) would look at this and assume 8.75”. But you have to take into account that first off, the ruler and dick are not on the same plane/aligned (ruler bent slightly forward). Secondly, it’s a side measurement, so therefore the ruler is further away from the camera than the top side of the dick, giving the illusion of a slightly longer measurement.
These are the two major reasons why top side is an absolute must for a proper measurement. I agree ~8.5”, good eye.
