I do not live in America so cannot measure one of those McDonalds cups. I appreciate if anyone here could and post a measurement picture for conclusive proof. That's the best and most clear measurement for Shane Diesel.

Answer - the cup is 7". And keep in mind this is the measurement for the XL 32 ounce cup - not the smaller 24 ounce cup used in Shane's picture. If you like the precise measurement of the 24 ounce cup it can be found by clicking on Eddie's link and choose the 24 ounce version. It's 6.8". So if I was nasty now I should be downplaying Shane another .1 or .2 of an inch
