Measuring Girth

Hi everyone. Soo....my question is about measuring girth. I'm sure, just like when measuring length there are a million and one ways to do it. Last night, i measured the girth of my cock and was pretty shocked at the result (6.5") given what i've read about averages. I took two pictures to show you my method. Can you tell me if this is the way this is done?

you look a bit thicker just below the head.
i say measure at your thickest...but technically it is supposed
to be an average of the head,midshaft,and base.

Measure around the mid-shaft of you cock using a cloth tape. If you only have a ruler, use a piece of paper or string, wrap it around the mid-point of your cock, mark it with a pen and measure the string or paper against the ruler.

Measuring the thickest part of your cock, either against your belly, or around the head, is generally considered incorrect for measuring the girth of your cock, although they make interesting reading;-)
