    Hey guys,

I was just wondering who all has had to endure medical procedures that involved the penis?

I recently had to have surgery to repair some damage caused by a kidney stone. The operation was performed with a scope sort of thing that was inserted through the tip of my penis. As if that wasn't bad enough, I had to have a catheter for 4 days afterward. My poor wanger felt like it had a garden hose going through it! I don't know if being smaller would have helped or not, but I'd rather not do it again to find out.

Has anyone else had these experiences with catheters and things?

My WebpageI developed prostrate cancer at an early age and so had to have surgery. As a result, when viagra didn't work well my MD suggested a penile implant. It wasn't too painful, a bit embaressing in pre-op when at least 15 nurses and techs came by and asked what I was having done. Anyway, now I can get erect anytime I want for as long as I want - have multiple orgasms, etc. Its great and feels good.

Yeah I had to have a medical procedure on my penis at 7. Don' t member much about the problem, which existed from birth, but it was something about a mis-shapen kidney and a double urethra- yes, I actually had two openings. I didn't know anything was wrong til my Mother noticed blood in my urine one day. At that age how was I to know anything was wrong? Actually, I learned later, it's not that an uncommon birth defect.

Anyway here I was a little kid stuck in a hospital with catherter in his little thing. The first time I peed it hurt like hell and screamed and cried til my Mom called for a nurse who calmed me down. I don't remember being scared or apprehensive again cause everyone at the hospital was sweet and reassuring. I was put under for the operation, of course, but I remember my Gramps and other relatives being there when I came too and not being embarrassed in the least.

You see, my penis' operation, or lack thereof, was very important. Out of a big family my brother and I, somehow, ended up being the only ones likely to carry on the family name and I'm queer and my brother has only female children! I love it! Not knowing the cultural, biological, sexual, and generational importance of the penis it was just like any other part of my body like a finger or toe. The recovery was painless and I never had any problems again though my piss comes out at unpredictable angles. It's not worth complaining about. However, if you look very closely at the head of my dick you can still see another (non-fuctioning) opening :)

unless you count the normal round of venereal diseases then no. I was on a catheter briefly, following surgery to patch up a few holes some crackhead asshole put in my stomach with a knife many years ago, but that was because I couldn't get up to use the bathroom at the time.

I had a catheter when I had by-pass surgery. Not only did it feel like I had a water hose in my penis it looked like on when they took it out. Dam thing was atleast a half inch in diameter. Hurt like a S.O.B. when they took it out. Hope I don't ever have to have one again.

I've been catheterized after surgery a few times. As soon as I'm conscious after a procedure I start demanding that they take the damned thing out - it irritates the heck out of me and I constantly feel like I need to 'go.'

What gets really irritating (not at first but eventually) is that every hospital employee in white that comes into my room wants to 'have a quick look-see' at my 'catheter' for some reason.

Bypass surgery, kidney surgery, and multiple kidney stone events.

    ALL were unpleasant experiences.
