I need to lose some weight before I start going to the gym again, or else my knees will punish me horribly for it. So, to kick start my program, I ordered the Medifast month long program--they supply the protein drinks, the snacks etc., you supply the one so called real meal of the day--usually limited to a small portion of lean chicken or fish, and some greens. It is reasonably balanced, and uses a more mild form of ketosis that Atkins and South Beach diets use to a more extreme level. It was a reasonable cost, and my mother, whose metabolism I unfortunately share , had good luck taking off some weight that the doctor required her to tak off for health reasons, so I thought it would be a reasonable match. Before the package arrives, I was wondering if anybody here has used this, and what their results have been. And, yes, I realize my results will/may vary--just looking for some feedback from others. Thanks!
