My friend says men are stupid. I hear it a lot from women. You think we are stupid we think you are crazy. So I asked her, exactly what things do men do that are stupid? I always thought we like..didn't understand you well enough, that we didn't know the signs and the cues on how you're feeling and all this. I thought this was why we are "stupid".

But she surprised me when she said that men are stupid because we cheat. Or we purposely do things that could end a relationship..like sleep with a girls mom or something.

Really? Do you agree with this? Because obviously it makes sense but I just never thought of it like that.

If we are stupid...tell us how not to be stupid. So that maybe one day if you meet a man from this site, he will have read this thread, and you won't ever have the issue of being with a "stupid man"

I think most people who say things like this are venting because something happened.

You find out that your boyfriend is cheating on you, you get mad, you say men are stupid, they are dogs, etc.

You do something and you don't see a reason for your girlfriend to be upset for something you have done, she is mad says things, does things, you get mad because she is mad at 'nothing', you say things, women are too complicated, they like to play head games, etc.

I'd say very few people actually think this constantly.

You said it obviously makes sense, it doesn't make sense to judge an entire gender on such things. There are plenty of men who don't cheat, try not to do things to end relationships, like sleeping with someone's mom.

I'm just trying to see if there are other things that women get mad about. Some guys ask for tips on how to fuck them better. I'm looking for tips on how to be less stuipd. Sure i haven't ever cheated on a girl. But I'm sure I've done stupid things I didn't realize were dumb. What are things we should avoid doing? Or is it simply what my friend said, that we cheat. Hell lots of people cheat on both sides lol. It can't be just that simple.

I don't think you can generalise and say that ALL men are stupid because of the behaviour of any one man.

However, I DO think the obsession many straight men have with penis size and their penis in general is completely illogical, considering that most women really don't care that much about size. Even the women who do care about size have other qualities they are looking for in a man, but do the size obsessed stop to wonder if they have these other qualities? Usually, no. And it doesn't seem to matter how often women tell the size-obsessed about this, the size-obsessed just don't listen.

So if you want to be a smart man, rather than a stupid one, my advice is to actually LISTEN to what the majority of women are saying, rather than focusing in on what you have heard one or two women say.

PEOPLE are stupid. Gender plays no part in it. Sure there are things that some men may do that some women would not do. On the flip side there are things that some women may do that some men would not do. There are no hard rules here. It's all part of this dance called life.

I can't think of a single flaw that every single man I've ever been involved with has had. If you had asked specifically what are the things that have driven me crazy about my SOs I've had instead of "men" as a group, then that question would be a lot easier to answer. I can think of many flaws specific men had, but not one that they all had.
