Lets assume you want your boy to be circumcised just (now i know some guys are not circumcised and will be biased so i prefer honest comments)

And your wife says no thats child abuse. there is no compromise between the two of you, what would you do?

    Leave it.

Circumcision can be performed at any age, but it can't be reversed. It's the decision of the owners cock whether it should be circumcized or not, no-one elses :)

Cave in and agree to keep the child intact, 'cos we all know that deep down, unless for religious or extreme health reasons, keeping a boy intact is the right thing to do:)

I'll go with your assumption first: it should be a joint decision. If there is a discrepancy, the least invasive opinion should take precedent. One is undoable, the other is not.

Now, back to reality: I would leave the child intact and let him decide for himself when he reaches majority age.

I would let the boy decide for himself later. I wish I had been given that choice, but I wasn't.

I think you have your answer right there. Its HIS arm, it's HIS foot, they are HIS earlobes, they are HIS nipples, and it is HIS foreskin.

I was circumcised as an adult. It was my decision to have it done. I like the results---Excellent surgeon, timely stitch removal which left no scar other than a slight skin color difference at the stitch line, gone is the odor and smegma build-up. Yes, I would do again. Partners like it too. Tried to wear it off by lots of hand action but the skin was self renewing. Thus the decision to cut.

Leave the boy in tact, make an issue of it and use it as a bargaining chip to use the money that would've been spent on the circumcision to play a round or two of golf at a luxury resort of my choosing ! :biggrin1:

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Helvetica]"Finally, the cost of circumcision is about $100 per procedure in the U.S. (A total of $200 million is spent on circumcisions each year.) You may have to pay for the procedure yourself because many medical insurance companies do not cover the costs of this procedure."

Any other procedural savings are under consideration as well. :biggrin1:

This has been done to death in other threads. It's a common sort of ignorance to cut a normal healthy part off the most vulnerable of human beings.

The price of circ is well more than $100. In Utah in 2003 the average was $346.

I'm cut. I'm pissed. It's barbaric mutilation. The foreskin includes over half the sensual nerve endings, protects the glans from drying and abrasion, and provides an exquisite frictionless rolling/gliding action for a man and his
    partner.

Through restoration, I've gotten back some of the benefits of having a foreskin, but it took forever and I cursed my INTACT father every day while restoring.
