So, a guy I talk to on a shoe forum I belong to likes wearing high heels. I think the idea of men in stilettos is ridiculous, but I suppose there are some more masculine, chunky heeled shoes that shorter guys could pull off. What do the rest of you think of this?

I have with to disagree! I love a slave in "Mary Janes" with full make-up
and a dress looking like "____________" {you pick the name}
the ugliest fucking woman in the world!
I love it!

^^Silly goose, Jason!

Well, in the Voguing scene there's a whole catergory devoted to men's ability to navigate the runway while donning a pair of FIIIEEERRRCCEEE pumps.

It's called "BQUIP" or "Butch Queen Up In Pumps."

I guess I'm the only one who remembers men tottering around on chunky stacked platform shoes in 1972-73!
I'm going to pass on this trendy new trend of what was it called? " Bitching it up?"

...those are cute.

I personally don't think I'll ever wear a pair, but there are some guys who oddly enough don't look too bad wearing them (depending on how broad your acceptance ranges)

Ya, I mean I think he looks good in them....but I donno....I'm not sure I could like go out to dinner with a guy in stilettos. Now, I think if some of the shorter, more metro guys want to wear girl's shoes with chunky heels, I think some of them can pull that off.

Men in high heels we call them drag queens

Ask RuPaul,
How tall are you?
6'7", But with heels and hair I go thru the roof baby
(or something to that effect)

Short men who feel the need to compensate for height have thick soled platform like dress shoes aka lifts.

I remember the platform shoe era. My baby sitter had these 4 or 5 inch tall rainbow soled flip flops that she wore everywhere one summer until she fell off them and sprained her ankle. No guys here in my little podunk town wore them, but I do remember Huggy Bear on Starsky and Hutch wearing the most outrageous heels.

High heels for men have come and gone in fashion though I've only seen stilettos on hair band performers. I'd never wear them outside of a theater performance.

I like my men to look like men all over, all the time. I think he's gay or a drag queen wannabe. Men in stilettos is just wrong, :yuck: unless of course they look like Ru Paul or Lypsinka.

My first reaction was to say noooooooooooooo me no likey! But... I really fancy Eddie Izzard, even when he's in high heels... so sometimes I guess it's ok, depends on the bloke!
