I watched a full episode plus the after dark for the first time last night. Seemed like the camera's were avoiding the crotch shots yesterday. Is this a norm thing in the show? Again it was the first time I saw a full episode so just wondering. btw it also seemed like the guys were covering up the crotch with pillow, etc while laying around

You know what this comment is bull. If a gay man is sexual, effeminate, and flamboyant that's who he is and no one has any right to give him sh1t for that. Don't blame actual gay identities for how we're stereotyped, blame society's close mindedness and pop culture.

Now I don't know anything else about Frankie, maybe he is an idiot, but it's certainly not because he's sexual or feminine. Well of course him grabbing Cody's balls without consent is totally crossing the line. The post I responded too seemed to condemn Frankie not for his inappropriate behavior, but for the fact that he was "effeminate, flamboyant, and oversexed". Acting effeminate is just a personality trait too many gay men are shamed for having, or any men. Of course this stems from misogyny and hatred of all things feminine but that's a whole other conversation. And I wasn't aware that being 'oversexed' involved sexual harassment. I think predatory would be the better descriptor if that's what the poster was talking about.

I was trying to refrain from replying to this thread because it seemed to be a waste of time considering some contributors don't seem to understand or comprehend the English language. For the record, I did not call Frankie a bigot. What I said was, "Last year, Big Brother and Julie made a big deal out of racist comments on the show. This year they put someone like Frankie on. It's almost like they were hoping for more bigotry." In simpler language I was predicting that some BB contestants might make bigoted comments in answer to Frankie's actions. As it turned out, the contestants Frankie groped were either complete gentlemen or really kinda enjoyed it. Or, unlike Frankie, they cared what the TV audience and their family thought.

As for gay stereotypes, any stereotype is formed when we find the same thing happening over and over again in a certain circumstance. As a gay man, I hate this stereotype and am embarrassed when I witness it. But that's just me and I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings.
It's my opinion that straight people don't hate Frankie because he's gay, they hate him because he's annoying. It's totally my belief that the lines blur and the hate for those annoying flamboyant individuals becomes hate for all gay people at large, including the non-annoying ones. That bothers me, but that's my problem.

Again, I apologize if I've stepped on any toes. Forums are good for expressing opinions, but I guess there are some topics that are too sensitive to discuss, even as I "roam around on a gay porn forum."
