Guido – A handsome, Italian American male. Works out regularly, wears lots of 18K or higher gold jewelry. May appear to be a media stereotype of Italians; but is often well educated and quite the gentleman. IMO the only negative is this man tends to like male and females to play traditional male/female roles in a relationship.

Goombah – 1) “a loyal male friend; 2) an Italian-American a member of a criminal gang, a Mafia boss, 3) a stupid person? Goombah is thought to come from the Italian word compare.

in black pentecostal churches the men wear rings on their little pinky fingers as a code amongst the gays ... stupid really because most single men in churches over the age of 30 tend to be gay

I wear a white gold 3 stone diamond ring on my left ring finger...which is not a gay thing....IMO - wearing a ring on a finger other than a ring finger or pinky is the stupidest thing I have ever seen - do these people think that looks good?

But I digress - I have never heard of a "code" for rings.

Ooh! My aren't you special, to have such an opinion? No.
And by the way, it does look good!

Mr. Ed wears a huge, gold, "St.George slaying the Dragon" coin ring, on his right ring finger, and a diamond lion, to match my emerald lion ring,on
his pinky, also a titanium and a 3-stone diamond ring,{that I got him}on his left finger symbolizing, marriage. Plus, the heavy gold rope, with Jesus on the cross, around his neck, and a gold bracelet I gave him after three dates. I knew he was gonna' be mine,so why not? I think Mr. Ed already mentioned the rings in his cock, yes? Now those are fabulous! and they feel great in me too!
I most definitely think jewelry on men looks great, not stupid.

:biggrin1: NJ!!! I can be your Italian mafia man anytime babe!

As for the gentlemen who commented on pinky rings being a sign of being gay in Pentecostal churches... I am Pentecostal and have been for quite some time. This is definitely news to me... hmmmm

And for rckhrdstd... "stupid?" to wear a ring on a pinky? We are all given a right to express ourselves and to converse freely but really - stupid??? Have you not seen some royalty wear pinky rings? Men in political arenas? Ministers? Men of wealth? Men who are middle-class? Well-eduated men? Really, stupid? I think we can come up with a more suitable word, yes?

Really?!?!

Now, I digress...

I don't wear rings or jewelry for several reasons:

1. I don 't like jewelry
2. Jewelry is fucking dangerous around machinery and electricity. More than one person has lost a finger, hand or arm by being pulled into machinery, neckties are really bad, and others have had serious burns from rings, etc. shorting out.

Why don't you want to wear a ring there? Are you insecure? If you are not gay, what does it matter?

I work for an upscale retail company, I'm just curious I guess you could say, not insecure. I See the same faces day in and day out, attracting alot of rich / gay community. Its a good thing to know.

I wear three rings, One on left middle finger, one on right index and one on right thumb. Have always liked rings as a kid. Mine are silver, chunky, masculine rings. Although I am gay I don't think it is a gay thing at all. I am young and trendy and live in London where fashion tends to be more quirky and individual.

I tend not to wear much other jewelry at all, apart from the rings. Many of my straight mates wear lots of jewelry (bracelets, rings, necklaces etc) I think it might be an age thing. Also, part of the bohemian, funky male look. Think Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. And if anyone thinkg Johnny Depp looks gay, they need a reality check...
