When I got called to the principal's office I didn't know if it was for fighting or tech support.
As with most things there are an awful lot of stereotypes, and most of them seem to really miss the mark. My roommate, who is a computer information systems major, was captain of the varsity soccer team in high school.
Huge geeks who aren't incredibly socially awkward and uncoordinated are still roaming free. I don't see any reason to hide my interests/geekiness, but I also know enough not to let people (or myself) completely define me by it.
