Mine are pretty average I think and work just great so I'm happy with them. On other people? I'm judgemental about more important things to really comment on this... but I know someone who was not happy with his and he had areola tattooing in order to make them appear bigger.

Saw a picture of this recently - a guy got fake pink areolae tattooed around his diminutive nips. Seems like a lot of trouble to me!

I guess I would prefer average...but it's not a huge priority.

As long as I can nibble at one, I'm fine :)

I remember a few years back one of the presenters on Naked News, Jack Lange, was asked what one feature of his body he would change. He had an outstanding physique (former Canadian Navy) and a beautiful cock. He said he'd change his nipples; he was always self-conscious that they were small, and he'd prefer to have larger ones. It wasn't clear whether he meant diameter of the areola, as I understood it, or how prominent the nipples themselves were. Both vary widely among guys.

30+ years of men pulling on them (and the occasional use of a snake-bite kit in my 30s)have given me large nips: not freakish, but large.

You'd look freakish without any at all (see the centaurs in Disney's Fantasia if you doubt me). But as long as there's some kind of dot there you're ok.
