I have a different take on this.

I think we were all created bisexual but to varying degrees. There is no 100% straight or 100% gay and the reason is simple. If we were (100% this or that), there would no attraction to people of the same sex. We have to have that attraction in order to have our friends, the guys we play ball with or the girls we do manis and pedis with :tongue: and what about our BEST friends? Ever met someone and immediately liked or disliked the person? Ever met someone and just wanted to be friends with them? I think that's the bisexual nature we're born with for a purpose.

There's at least one fallacy. There seems to be an assumption that everyone who uses the site looks at the photos of other people's penises. I doubt that's true. There's a lot of practical advice about hetero sex and relationships on this site in addition to lots of photos of penises.

I think in "real life" people are either on the right or left and very few inbetween. There is no way half of the stuff on these forums would be able to fly in real life because you have to be straight or gay. You can't explain degrees to your friends.

That's because you are biased. Sexual attraction and emotional attraction are two diffferent things. Even then, it gets really hard to qunatify what is what. Why do things targeted toward men have good-looking men? Look at Calvin Klein or a Omega watch ad. Heck, look at recent old spice commericals. At some degree, we are all have a sort of sexual attraction with the same gender (but not in THAT way). Some peple have it more or less.

Bisexual people could like both sexes but only be attacted to one. For example, Lady gaga said" I like both sexes, but I've only been in love with a man". Gaga likes women sexually, but can't love them. Just because YOU don't get it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Some might question why would a guy want to watch straight porn with a guy that has a huge dick. Doesn't that make him gay? Well? In my honest opinion it doesn't mean he wants the guy, but is sexuallly attracted to him. It becomes erotic (whether or not the guy wants to admit it) if a guy has a certain aspect to him in porn. Why is Ron Jeremy and Rocco Sidfried so popular amongst...men? Because there is A sexual attraction. You'll rarely see a tub of lard in a vid.

out of practicality. i may find some men attractive, to the point where i could consider myself closer to 90-99% straight (i suck at maths, so don't know the exact number. ), but i have no real interest in certain activities. even listed at 100%, i still get solicited out the wazoo on here. if i listed it as anything less, i'd be opening up the flood gates. i'm honest with myself and those around me in real life, and honest in discussion on here. so who gives a crap what it says in some box on my profile there? for practical concerns (ie: "do i have a chance with this guy?"), the difference between whatever "percentage" my sexuality actually is and that mythic "100%" is negligible.

likewise, like i said, i'm not going to begrudge anyone who declares they're TOTALLY straight or TOTALLY gay...because in some cases it's true, in some cases it's close enough to be indistinguishable for all practical matters so that's how they choose to perceive and identify themselves. it's not my place to TELL an individual what their sexuality is...but i personally think as a SPECIES, on the whole, biologically and psychologically, we're a lot more bi than we think.

I would think that pornstars would be popular because the viewer identifies with them, rather than it being a sexual attraction...I watch porn from time to time, and I don't have a particular favorite male nor female...but I know one things for sure..people like people who they identify with (nothing sexual)...

I am not bias at all...hence why I said "excuse my ignorance"...I just believe that if you are sexually attracted to a man and your a man (YOUR GAY)...nothing is wrong with it, it is what it is

wow. this was not suppose to be a discussion on sexuality. my personal opinion about human sexuality is that there are no 100%. gay or straight. i think there are strong preferences for one sex or the other.

if you really feel that you are straight, then why would what i say bother you? if you think you're straight 100% that's great. i have a different opinion.

I agree that human sexuality is more complex than simply "straight or gay" for most people. I also agree that many people -- not so much here at LPSG -- do not readily acknowledge this in themselves, for a whole host of reasons. However, on the continuum of human sexuality, I do find it likely there are are men and women who are firmly at either end, i.e., completely heterosexual or homosexual. As a rule, people know themselves best, and if someone says he or she is 100% one way or the other, then I am inclined to give it credence in the absence of any evidence to the contrary.

Obviously, LPSG attracts a more liberal and free-thinking croud, and an internet community such as LPSG can operate without a many of the conventions of the rest of the world. That being the case, I would expect a high degree of acceptance and tolerance on this site. Yes, it would be nice if all aspects of our existence could be this way.

I am a man. I really know what I like sexually. I know what really turns me off sexually.

First of all, I am respectful of every man's personal sexual preferences and ideals. I can be attracted to men who aren't attracted to me and be very cool about that. I am not going to push myself on them...or let them know my attractions though. That only makes the men feel uncomfortable.

Every man deserves to be with the one they wanna be with. I want the same even for myself.

I think that bisexuality is amazing. I wish that I were bi...but I know that I am not. I think that it is interesting that bisexuals have dual gender attractions in some percentage. I feel kinda envious...but I am an honest guy...I can't be envious over something I have never had or desired.

I am totally woman challenged. I could honestly say that if I were married heterosexually...my wife would really hate me.

If you're straight, fine. If you're gay, fine. If you're somewhere on the scale in the middle, fine.

I never get the ones on here who say, "You'd better change that percentage, bub!" Who died and made you the percentage police? And what difference does it make? I mean, come ON. If dude says he's 100% straight, then he is. If he says he is 70% straight and wants to take it up the ass from everybody on this site, and never wants to see a woman naked again, well, let him say that.
