Actually, most women don't find it attractive at all. But the acvertisers don't know that, nor do they care.

I imagine it depends on whether the guy in question is attractive or not to begin with, combined with how low the girl in question's standards are; some women find the androgynous metrosexual thing a total turn-off regardless, but others don't seem to mind either way. most of the girls I know, including the bisexual and lesbian ones, just seem to think it's funny.

The lesbians probably think it's funny because they don't know what to do with all the products that we use. They are too busy trying to grow chest hair and out looking for pick up trucks, or being organic farmers. We have no use for all of that. The women I know don't necessarily want us to be androgynous, they want us to be groomed. I'm masculine, not androgynous at all, in fact far from it. I just like to look good and feel good. Being groomed and pampered makes me look and feel that way.

You can't really say that because you are not a woman...Most really hot chicks I know and see really like the metrosexual look but again that is my opinion and observation...Women fawn all over David Beckham...

you mentioned him already, and the general consensus seems to be that he's amusing in a sad kinda way, but hardly attractive. I think he's far more an example of the propensity for vapid idiots of both sexes to "fawn all over" anyone who's famous.

I actually like his style and not really attracted to the way he looks...I have never been the star struck type...A lot of times with the work I use to do I use to meet and lot of "celebrities" and when you realize that most of these folks are just train wrecks mentality - you feel more sorry for them than idolize them...

Well, there are women who like feminine partners. They're called lesbians. LOL

It's the same thing with how so many female models in ads look like teenage boys.

I don't think the metrosexual style looks feminine at all...Like tonight when I went out...I admit I dress really edgy and take risks but I got hit on or complimented by so many chicks (mostly foreign though) and even a couple of straight guys came up to me and said dude - I love your style, where do you get your clothes...I am actually kind of into the vintage stuff so I don't look like everyone else...

Yeah--my idea of metrosexual style is just IRONING Your shirt/shorts/slacks before being seen in public. That's not feminine--its just common sense. Looking like you just rolled out of bed from a 3 day nap is NOT cute.
