i never get sick when i travel to Mexico i dont drink enough and i am a person with a very strong stomach and i take pepto bismol tablets and always carry cipro with me but thanks for the concern

Toadstool, then you are a rare bird. I'm very familiar with ALL of Mexico, which currently is suffering exceptionally difficult times. So I'm one of those bleeding hearts who avoids the resorts. I much prefer to hang with the locals and avoid the drunken tourists who have pretty much ruined what used to be some of the most stunning beaches in the world -- especially those along the Mexican Caribbean. But then I'm old. Have a good time.
