This issue comes up for one party or the other or both every cycle. I am a partisan Democrat. Over the years I have held a variety of party offices. It is not my place to make decisions for the Republicans. They seem to be completely capable of totally fucking up on their own.

I saw Obama's news conference today. He was asked, "since it is super Tuesday today, do you have any response to Romney's criticism that he is "the most feckless president since Jimmy Carter?", he answered, "Good luck tonight," With a big shit-eating grin... "Really".

Gee, the only REALLY involved today was a running scared President who couldn't even let the Republican mudfest have its own day of absurdity.
Seriously why did he have to run out there today? As Bill Plante said this morning on CBS, the White House says it's not a political display, he rolled his eyes, acknowledging that it clearly is.

I just called my ex who wasn't going to vote (in Youngstown) because he hates the Republican party and convinced him to go out and vote for Santorum as a favor to me. And since I'm going out there on Saturday for a week he knows I'll kill him if he doesn't. :biggrin1:

P.S. Before anyone jumps on me, he's a registered Republican. Who knew? Some college folly because he got his first job through patronage and never bothered to change it.

Kind of a dull night. Santorum was about 1.5% away in every state of making the race fun again...

I think the most interesting bit was that Paul managed to keep Romney under 60% in Virginia.
