i seriously don't understand why an actor who is playing a teenager would cover himself in tattoos. are you trying to make it harder for the make up department? is this your way of protesting them making you do less clothed scenes? because if they can cover kj apa's giant tattoos on riverdale in order to show him shirtless every other episode, your giant leg tattoo won't deter hulu

Technically this is a forum to discuss Michael Cimino. And also, not every LGBTQ+ show has to be a masterpiece. Sometimes we can enjoy cheesy cliche'd gay stories. Isn't that what the original Love, Simon movie sold itself on?
If anything it's a sign things are changing for the better. There are thousands mediocre straight stories that are only made to be enjoyed by the masses, and the fact they are making gay stories like that shows how normalized it is becoming. Of course, we still have a long way to go, but sometimes we can just enjoy a little gay story that's not necessarily great but is comforting.
Ok, so while coming out is a unique experience for everyone, and one that might not always be easy, society does tend to be more accepting of white gay people than gay people of color.just watched S2 ep 8 and find it really perplexing why they thought it would be a cool idea to make out that if you're white it's alot easier to come out as gay or you have it easier if you're white... when that's not the case at all every case is individual and probably just the shoe doing some race baiting.
Respectfully I dont agree with that statement, probably better not get into the race debate on here but I thought it was rather insensitive and also pushes the divided more so. Some young gay white kid sat as home watching and feeling his struggle is less than because he's white. He could be from a poor working class back ground which the the system is also not in favour of.Ok, so while coming out is a unique experience for everyone, and one that might not always be easy, society does tend to be more accepting of white gay people than gay people of color.
It's not that white gay people don't experience homophobia, it's more that gay people of color experience not only it, but they also have to deal with racism and living in a system designed to oppress them
It's not that they don't have their struggles! They do! It's just that their race doesn't factor in it.Respectfully I dont agree with that statement, probably better not get into the race debate on here but I thought it was rather insensitive and also pushes the divided more so. i think the main issue is that disney would rather make the commentary about white privelege, which is literally all over the web, and anyone who speaks against said commentary is immediately labelled racist, instead of making the commentary that the issue is about religious parents who are so deep in their religious beliefs they make it much harder for their kids to come out. if benji came from a family that was as religious as victor's or rahim's, he'd have the exact same struggles as they do. but because his parents aren't religious nuts, they had less of a problem with accepting him.Respectfully I dont agree with that statement, probably better not get into the race debate on here but I thought it was rather insensitive and also pushes the divided more so. but no way in hell disney would ever make such statement about religion, because then they'd have to deal with the religious nutcases
