AND > can the writers finally get Benji's exact age nailed down?:) Season 1 > 16y/o with a suspended driver's license...Season 2 Benji celebrates his 17th b-day, but then during his episode 10 chat with Isabel, he refers to Victor and himself as "a couple of 16 year olds"...????????

Exactly. I thought that in S1 he was already 17 (one year older than Victor) and was already junior, because if I'm not mistaken, his car accident happened 1 year ago, so he had to be 16 at that time. That would mean that in S2 he celebrated his 18th birthday, but in S02E10 he referred to him and Victor as a couple of 16-year-olds. I think that the writers themselves haven't decided yet if Benji is one year older than Victor or same class.

If I'm not wrong, Victor and Rahim also said to each other "Hey". But I think that there's gonna be one of Benji's parent behind the door, because people are gonna expect one of Benji or Rahim there, but it's gonna be more dramatic if it's Benji's mom/dad and Benji is nowhere to be found (he's drinking because he thinks his first real love dumped him). And why would Benji choose Victor? Because he's the first person he has ever loved and still loves, which was proven by him coming to the wedding.

Victor and Benji have two full seasons of always saying "Hey" to each other, especially when discussing serious subjects. If you re-watch that final scene where Victor says "Hi" to whomever answers the door, no teenager would say that in a lovey-dovey voice to a parent opening their door late at night, and not using the proper "Mr"/"Mrs" title!:)
After waiting ONE full year to for the answer to this cliffhanger, producers and writers also know it won't cut it to have a parent or some other random new character answer the door.
Victor is at Rahim's door for all the key reasons I've outlined in my previous post > ENDGAME > VENJI > for happy fanbase required for Ratings / Renewals / Spin-offs / PROFITS > for Disney/Hulu & Producers!:)

There's no way it's Rahim's door, because nothing at the surroundings matches with what we saw in E09. We actually saw almost same view on Victor, who was standing just few steps from Rahim's door and behind him it was totally different - many trees, plants and also a low wall. And the road with cars was far behind and there's no way you could see that car in E10 go from left side to the right side of the screen for the whole time. I'm sure if it's one of Benji's parents behind the door, that after that "Hi" there's gonna be "Mr/Mrs Campbell. Is Benji at home?" We've seen in E07 when Benji's mom came to Brasstown that Victor is all smiley when he sees her.

I re-watched the final doorbell scene again. It sounds like a woman's voice who answers the door. Here is a left field guess. Victor actually went to his dad's apt looking for advice and it his real estate fling that answers the door. That may explain his more formal Hi as his father's fling is someone that Victor is not really on familiar/intimate terms with (if they have met at all). Victor could have also gone to Simon's parents house; why he would do this I have no idea, but they did feature Simon's father heavily in season 2, so that makes me think that Simon's family may have a further role to play in season 3. If that theory is correct we should see Jennifer Garner answer the door (who played Simon's mom in the film Love Simon). We know almost nothing about Rahim's family other than that they are supportive of him, but we don't know how strictly they adhere to Muslim customs. In very strict Muslim societies it would be out of character for a women to answer the door, so that may imply Victor was greeted by Benji's mother at the door rather than Rahim's mother. Serious props to the writers if they actually did research on stuff like that, however I wouldn't be surprised as the writing for this show has been top notch. There wouldn't be a thread going on 50 pages discussing plot points of a poorly written show.

I watched the whole thing over the weekend and I'm kinda depressed I will never experience gay teenage love. I have such an emotional attachment to this show and feel really stupid about it. I'm in my thirties! Is this late adolescence? lol

Right there with you. I'm 35. I did have a boyfriend in high school, but we had to be in the DL. He was the most attractive guy in school at least the yearbook said so. Girls would throw themselves at us. We both had beards. The girls never knew. We'd go do something as a foursome dump the girls home then go to his or my house and screwed like bunnies. He always bottomed, so that's how I became a top.

I thought I was the only one. I haven't even watched the last episode yet because I didn't want it to end lol. If your looking for another good one (a bit off topic) Young Royals on Netflix was actually really good.

Granting this is actually true. It doesn't sound you relate to that person as much as you think. Your teen life reads like a CW drama lmao. Not sure what the issue is exactly.

Victor and Rahim may have said "hey" > BUT > the point is that for TWO full seasons now, Victor and Benji have always said "HEY" to each other, especially when discussing serious subjects. Therefore, would Victor really be showing up at Benji's door and suddenly now be saying "Hi"? Especially given that he knows Benji is justifiably pissed off at him, vs using a the more contrite "HEY, can we please talk?"
And if you re-watch the clip of Victor at the door > would ANY teen who knocks late night at a door answered by PARENTS, really say "HI" in such a lovey-dovey voice > AND without referring to them respectfully as "Mr" or Mrs"?? NOPE!:)

Why are you responding after one week to the old post, that you already commented before basically with the same info you wrote here now and moreover I already responded to the previous one. But maybe you overlooked it, so I put it here again.

"There's no way it's Rahim's door, because nothing at the surroundings matches with what we saw in E09. We actually saw almost same view on Victor, who was standing just few steps from Rahim's door and behind him it was totally different - many trees, plants and also a low wall. We've seen in E07 when Benji's mom came to Brasstown that Victor is all smiley when he sees her."

And one more thing, it is not late night at all. If you look on Vic's phone when he checks Uber, it is 7:33, so he's probably ringing the bell no later than 8pm. Moreover, why would Victor need to rush so much to Rahim's house? He can tell him he chooses him the next day, Rahim wasn't expecting Victor would think about his stuff in about 15 min and then come as fast as possible to his house. If so, he could still wait down at the wedding, give Victor the 15 minutes and then find out if he wanna give him a chance (btw... we and also Victor don't know, if Rahim is still on the wedding or went home). On the other hand, Benji is mad at Victor because he saw him and Rahim together and the Venji relationship is in danger now. And if Victor wanna fix it, he needs to go to see Benji as fast as possible, explain him everything and make him to know, that he loves him more than anything or anyone. As Isobel said to Benji earlier that day, Victor loves and cares about Benji more than her and he was willing to risk his relationship with his mother because of Benji. And I think that we all can agree that Victor and Rahim worked really well as a gay friends. Victor really needs some friend like Rahim and not another love interest. To sum up, nothing would make sense in Victor choosing Rahim at that time. Try to look on it from every angles of the story (and not just from the side of fancying Rahim and Victor together) and you'll see, that there is no reason for Victor to rather choose new relationship over working on the current one with the person who he fancied for several months and loves now.

Also, there are already gonna be two new "major" pairs for S3 (Felix+Pilar, Lake+Lucy), so there's no need for another new one (Rahim+Victor). Rather present some new gay character for Rahim.

P.S. - Because the time of the end of S2 is around the beginning of December, I would really like to see Victor and Benji together during Christmas. The celebration of Benji's birthday didn't went well (Where was the romantic Victor from S1?), so I want for them some great celebration. The Salazars could officialy invite Benji to their house to celebrate with them, so that Benji could really feel the acceptance of his and Victor's relationship from Vic's family. We haven't seen any real interraction between Benji and Vic's family except Isobel, so it would be great to show his interractions with Armando, Pilar and Adrian.

Hey Shawn > you raise some good points here! We shall have to wait until next June to see who's right, or perhaps neither of us are!:) One additional thought > after making freaked out fans wait one full year for the answer to who's door Victor is standing outside, I don't believe producers and writers think they can get away with the lame cop-out that it's one of Benji's parents. And if you re-watch how Victor says "Hi" to whomever answers the door, that is really not the tone of voice and facial expression a teen would use to respectfully address a parent answering the door of their residence. Victor certainly doesn't go that far with his greeting to the mom at Brass Town > which is also a place of business where employees are expected to greet customers in a friendly manner.

Anyone else have an opinion on Victor potentially greeting a parent at their front door in this manner??
