Aches and pains I can agree with, but I'm in some of the best shape of my life right now. I just finished re-reading Zen in the Martial Arts by Joe Hyams, and there is mention in it (from Japanese court the middle ages) that a man past forty is in the prime of his manhood.
Another example is that some of the best Highland Athletes I know compete in the Master's level competition which is ages 45+. It is shaping up to be the most competitive division in my part of the country.
I'm not disagreeing with you for fun, SRDUDE, but I think it's all a state of mind. I imagine the only saggy parts of you are the parts that are supposed to be that way! If I eventually reach that point, I'll just buy a longer kilt. :biggrin1:
