^^Based on his deep baritone voice, I get the feeling he's a low growler with maybe the occasion to scream every once and a while...

Is it so hard to believe that he's actually straight? I don't get why gay men insist on every man being gay as well.

Is it so hard to believe the multitude of men in denial or repression and the damage they cause to other young, out gay men struggling so hard with their own self-identities? Is it so hard for you (the straight man in denial/repression) to develop your own self-esteem and your own sense of will so as not to dump your own stupid insecurities and issues on young, out gay men who already have enough to deal with?
I refuse to let the straight-oriented world push me on the back burner for their own selfish needs; the GLBT community deserves better. Who better to look out for our needs but ourselves? This is how we do it. Accept or not I don't care, just please respect it.

I remember the first time I heard his voice when he hocked QVC items.
I stopped what I was doing to see the man with a great voice. Never
watched much, never bought anything QVC ... while channel surfing
early Sunday and he was 'on', I sat and listened/watched. He was so
much more interesting to watch than Jim and Tammy Fay...

"Straight man in denial"? Where did you get that from? From my 70% gay? I'm out, but do you know how obnoxious it is when people deny the legitimacy of my orientation? When it's suggested that maybe I just haven't found the right girl? Do you realize that's exactly what gay men are doing to straight men when they insinuate they've got beards? That's not respecting another person's sexuality at all. That's just, as you say, "[dumping] your own stupid insecurities" on someone else.

Also, I don't understand how declaring someone else's orientation benefits the GLBT community. I'm gay as fuck, and I celebrate the fact. I didn't know that part of being gay entailed the forcible conversion of straight people. So much for acceptance. I guess I should be going door-to-door with Homo Watchtower pamphlets?

You need to lighten up. I highly doubt that the majority of folks on here are speculating that certain celebs are gay with the hopes of hooking up with/marrying/co-habitating with said celeb. It's fantasy. It's fun. It's not to be taken seriously. If someone "suggests" or thinks that an actor may or may not be gay, that's their prerogative. As long as they're not hurting anyone, what's the big deal? Besides, you never know what goes on behind closed doors. People could be hitting the nail right on the head with some of these actors regarding their sexuality. No one really knows for sure, but the fantasy is fun.

Someone's a little sensitive; I wasn't referring to you specifically. I was referring to the plural "you"; the generalized group of straight men who are in denial/repression. In German, the difference between the singular "you" and the plural "you" is du versus ihr respectively; English lacks much clarity. I should have been more clear on that distinction, I'm sorry.
I'll respond further to this later; I'm going to miss the bus...tata
