Doctors are there to do their job and give medical advice and treatment. If the woman wants to do the surgery she ( the twitter poster ) can sign the papers and have it done. No doubt about it. All I'm saying is that there are consequences to our actions and hers ( the Twitter poster ).

No, she can't. This is actually well-known. Doctors won't allow women to sterilize themselves, unless they are over 25 or have given birth three times. There is NO MEDICAL REASON EVER GIVEN. It always has to do with being available for a future pregnancy. This has always been true. It's the reason my grandmother, who was married and had two, had to have illegal abortions. It's the reason @Tight_N_Juicy has to suffer from her painful condition. It's the reason a friend of mine has been unable to relax during sex, knowing a third pregnancy might kill her. The only woman I know who hasn't had this apply to her is developmentally impaired. She is able to consent, but if her parents die before her daughter is fully raised, her daughter is fucked. What you actually know about this topic couldn't fill a thimble.
