Being that you've only made three posts ever on this site, you're not aware of how much weight personal beliefs carry in here. Not a whole lot. Most people shirt them to talk about cocks, tits and pussies.

I guess in Massachusetts you have to be an alcoholic and a womanizer (like Ted Kennedy) to win reelection.

I know the Romneys very well and they seriously are a classy family. They have a lot of wealth but they really are decent, nice people. ... I guess I just get annoyed when I read crap about people who really are decent people. You should be impressed with the way they conduct themselves. If it takes knowing what's below the waist for you to be impressed... you'd be impressed. I doubt any study has ever been done but I bet statisically Mormons would rank pretty high in comparison. There's a reason.

About the whole secret Mormon underwear thing; They are called Garments. Only those taking sacred covenents with God wear them. I find it tasteless that you want to degrade something that is held sacred by any faith. Do you have any beliefs? Hold anything sacred? I'm probably not making my point so I'll be quiet.

I bet if you talked to your buddy Mitt about this, he'd likely say that it's all part of being in the public eye.

Is anyone on the news as good or bad as they seem? Likely not.

As far as Mormonism goes... harmless jesting at cultures we don't understand is not the same thing as being hateful and bigoted. That said, we cannot deny that Mormons practiced (and many still practice) polygamy, kept the brotha down until 1978, and still are perceived as a mysoganistic organization.

Going forward, WarriorBoy, let's grow some thick skin and not get bent out of shape when someone decides that they won't vote for a Presidential Candidate. That is why there's more than one to choose from, right?

By the way, God Bless America,
dukey

Dear God no.

Who wants to see this Bush clone shirtless? There's a limit.

REALLY!

Josh (from the picture posted) is the best looking of his sons though he does have that possessed look in his eyes like the other three.

My post disgusts you? I can't see why it would do that. I seriously read it and can't see how it could be disgusting. You really think I need thicker skin? Wow, great advice from you. Thanks.

You think Polygamy is still practiced by Mormons? Wrong! There was a period where it was practiced and it was done for a pretty specific reason. If you choose to live a polygamist lifestyle you will be ex-communicated from the Church. I am kind of entertained when I talk to people about Mormonism. There are so many misconceptions about it. Mormons get confussed with the Omish all the time. I hear that and the part about polygamy mostly. Some of the other things I hear I cannot believe that people could even believe the stuff they repeat. It's kind of entertaining.

I didn't get bent out of shape because someone wants to vote for someone else. Do I think Mitt would bring more credibility and ethics to the political scene? Yup! Politics are horribly corrupt, more so than most people probably want to realize. The political machine is enormous and powerful. It would be great to get a majority that had the balls to standup for basic good principles. When will that happen? When something devistating happens on our soil and we'll get back to what's really important. Thanks, always good to talk to you.

Oh, how can a religion make my penis bigger? It can't, but living a certain lifestyle, similar to Mormons, will help. Don't believe me? Check out the Smith Field House @ BYU.

Warrior Boy--

I am sorry if I offended you with my joke about "the Sacred underwear of the LDS" also known as "THE GARMENTS". I was only being humorous. I can EVEN make fun of myself.

I think that the way people hold religion is WAY TOO serious and WAY TOO wound up and uptight. You have a right to make points. But, you think that because people believe in certain things that EVERYONE automatically had to respect that religion...it is certainly a tall order to fill, don't you think? I am not a Mormon. I am not a Christian. I am not a Muslim. I am not EVEN a AVON or a Mary Kay salesman. People outside your religion don't EVEN get respected. And are these people supposed to be respectful to you because you're a Mormon? I dunno.

Last I checked your church (I'm assuming you're a Mormon) said that they didn't want to be called the "Mormon Church" because that's not their official name. It appears that you can still be a Mormon and a polygamist at the same time. However I will agree that you can't be a SLC Mormon like Mr Romney and you are and openly practice polygamy. Utah might lose its state-hood and the feds might confiscate everything the church owns. Ain't it funny how God works?

I also find it odd that you'd point out BYU's football team to prove that Mormons have bigger penises. Considering that they're 8-16-1 in their Bowl Games and haven't been in the front half of the top 25 in over 10 years, I'd guess that there bigger student bodies at other schools. Unless you know first hand, I'd say you'd need a bigger sample than a football team to say an entire religion is huge.

One more thing -- which you ignored in your response.

The SLC Olympic bid was catagorically corrupt. It made international headlines! And it changed the way potential Olympic cities do business. How could the man responsible, Mitt Romney, bring credibility and ethics to the political scene if he couldn't do it in sports!?

It would be great to get a majority that had the balls to standup for basic good principles. When will that happen? When something devistating happens on our soil and we'll get back to what's really important.

I'm going to make another assumption that you're referring to the Republican Party. Didn't that stuff already happen, twice? September 11, 2001 and Hurricane Katrina were rather ominous perils that didn't seem to bring Congress back to "what's really important".

How much more devistation are you waiting for?

Respectfully,
dukey

Sounds like the same drivel that George the Second spouted in 2000.

Romney since using Massachusetts as a launching pad for his presidential bid has now deemed it "The Las Vegas" of the United States with reference to the recent failed bid of religious zealots to put an amendment banning same sex marriage on the 2008 ballot.

Thanks goodness that fucker's gone.

Mitt Romney----- be afraid. Be very afraid.

I'm not defending or condemning him (honestly haven't paid too much attention since the election is 1 1/2 years away!), but Mitt was brought in to SAVE the SLC Olympics...everything was corrupt so he took over and tried to right the ship. He wasn't in charge during the bulk of the scandal.

That's OK...Mitt is NOT defendable......(a very disgruntled resident of massachusetts)

You're good, no problem. I do think some take religion a little more serious than others. As you don't really practice one, I can see how you found some humor in the statement. It's funny, Mormons don't utilize the Crucifix as a symbol of the religion, but because I recognize the significane of the symbol, I was offended with Linda Blairs use of it. I'm all good with anyone masturbating but it just struck me funny. Understanding the movie I can see why it was done. So anyway, thanks for the post.

My first post...it had to be done.

I was a resident of Salt Lake City for 25 years - a non-mormon resident. I think people should be informed before they pick apart something so passionate as religion. That said, I have studied the ins and outs of the Mormon "religion" during my years in SLC, and my continuing years as a history professor. I can honestly say that Mormonism is the single most outrageously silly organization I have ever studied. The things these folks believe would blow your mind. I mean people, there are documents – books, letters, journals – that reveal the origin of the grand hoax, as well as its reasons for coming into being. Joseph Smith was a con man, perhaps a brilliant entrepreneur, but a con man nonetheless. The religion was created (made up) less than 200 years ago. This isn’t subjective. This is history! Plain and simple - like writing a book. You don’t have to listen to me, look it up for yourself. I encourage people to study all religions. What this has to do with large genitalia is beyond me.
