talk about a comeback!! Getting out of that 5-0 hole in the 2nd half was amazing and tells us the Yankees aren't about to give up. Incredible win!!

Not that I profess to know a whole lot about about the game of baseball, or even the Yankees for that matter, to say what they need to do to win this series with the Rangers, but I think they helped themselves a whole lot by winning at least one of these first games in Texas. It would've been nice to go to Yankee Stadium only needing to win two of the games there, but it's almost as good now with being able to possibly finish the series there.

And now as I watch the Giants-Phillies game I can't help but be proud and happy for a fellow New Mexican, Cody Ross, as he's hit his second home run of the game. Our local media here has always followed him in his major league career, so I've followed him as well. Congrats to him. Go Giants!:biggrin1:

Great pitching by Cliff Lee who helped shut down the Yankees tonight, striking out 13. The Yanks used three pitchers in the 9th but the Rangers kept scoring. The Rangers lead their series 2-1.

Well, the Yankees are out of it. The Texas Rangers are the 2010 American League Champions and are going to the World Series. Congratulations to the Rangers!

My allegiance is now fully with the Giants. If they fail to make it to the World Series I doubt I'd have enough interest in the Rangers or Phillies to watch a series between those two teams.

I'm very happy that NY got ousted. I'm also happy that the Rangers were the team to do it. They make for a good baseball story given all the talent and stories involved.
