I was wondering whether my thoughts on this would be welcome or perhaps some forum veterans could lend me some advice.

The Models and Celebrities section seems to have the highest turnover of posting on the forum which means a thread can be pushed off Page 1 within 15 minutes of the last post being made.

I am watching a number of threads there but sometimes find it difficult to find new ones to participate in because things move so quickly and I have to admit out of 30 or so threads shown on Page 1, I might only know 1 or 2 names. :joy:

I am also finding quite a bit of the content in this section really should belong in Web Personalities and Influencers and cutting through the noise of that can be a bit annoying.

I was wondering whether users could be encouraged to post in the correct sections particularly in this area given it's so busy. I realise that these days that many web personalities are celebrities in their own right but I feel like there is still a distinction between being famous-famous and internet-famous.

I also thought that prefixes could be utilised in this area to make it easier for people to browse content they want to see especially when it isn't content which can be revealed by a traditional search.

They don't seem to be used that commonly right now and simple designations like Artist/Band, Sportsperson, Actor, Influencer, OnlyFans, Model, Porn Star etc I think would be of great help when browsing this section.

Eager to hear what people think of this anyway or if anyone has any tips for a newer member and narrowing down the content a bit I would really appreciate your thoughts.

I like your idea and it was the basis of starting the Web Personalities section. That said it didn't pan out too well and the definition of celebrity seems to be up for debate to a lot of users. Now that we have @LPSG Simon on board let us see what we can do about this.

Hi @Mr. LPSG thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.

I can definitely see that being the intention of the Web Personalities and OnlyFans sections. Like you say it's just a matter of POV where content ends up right now.

I suppose it depends whether you can make the prefixes section-specific as I can see now that they are more commonplace in the Photo and Video Sharing sections.

I'm curious how do you see the Prefixes helping this?

I guess it doesn't help with where content ends up per se, but helps make clearer who the thread is about as a more visual categorisation.

It might also make it clearer to moderators whether they need to relocate a thread or not.

I would say that users wouldn't get the message about the correct locations if the moderating team aren't proactively relocating threads with reminders to users but please know that I fully appreciate the difficulty in managing this on a consistent basis.

If this isn't seen as a big issue then cool. I guess I just found it confusing that, for instance, there are threads for OnlyFans accounts in 3 different locations, and like I said with the high turnover in M&C it can be frustrating to browse when you aren't interested in that kind of content.

Thanks :D
