Constant moisturizing of any skin surface isn't a good practice. Your body is naturally equipped to keep your skin healthy. In colder climates (such as where I live, where it's currently sub zero), moisturizing your hands is sometimes necessary.

I never moisturizing my dick/balls, and the skin on both is incredibly smooth. Granted, I never shave them either, which decreases the liklihood for irritation.

I actually don't moisturize in the summer, but I live in a cold climate and my skin generally gets dry in the winter.

I make sure all areas are dry before getting clothed. I do this by walking around nude for about 10 minutes before getting dressed.

What do you use? Body lotion? One of the things that concerns me about all those handcreams and body lotions is they contain some sort of alcohol, and/or a bunch of not natural ingredients.

I don't know where you came by that little nugget, but it's not true. Some people's skin regulates its own moisture level effectively. Some people's skin does not, and that can lead either to dry skin or to excess production of skin oils.

Any kind of exfoliation, such as shaving or using a rough textured sponge in the shower, or a body scub etc would entail moisturising the skin after in order to protect and moisturise the exfoliated skin surface.

I moisturise my balls after shaving them, I don't shave my dick really and I'm uncut so I don't have to worry about irritation or dryness of the glans.

I'm surprised at how many guys do this, but I'm glad to hear it. Another question: After you (men) take a shower, I assume you use a towel to dry off. But our nooks and crannies are still somewhat wet even then. I use a blow dryer for those areas before putting my underwear on. Is this a common practice?

I do hit the sack & crack with a blow dryer sometimes...and I moisturize daily unless I don't have time.
