I go to meet with a lawyer about my disability appeal. I hope he takes my case. I am sitting down now getting all the info he needs addresses, med list and stuff.

Let's hope this guy is a good lawyer. I just got a name out of the phone book. But I only have about 30 more days to file my appeal so, time to get moving on it!

We're pulling for you babe. You'll win. I have a feeling. Your luck needs to change for the better and this could be it.

thanks, I certainly hope so. At least now I should be able to submit parts of my chart that were ammended and copies of forms that state to see another specialist for further treatment. Plus a letter to the state unemployment office stating I can not work and I need disability!

My current further treatment should also help since they put me through another battery of tests and I am getting worse. I've been off work since Apr 06, I think they should get off their asses and do the right thing and give me the disability.

Kind of hard to work everyday when you have unpredictable dizziness and are on such heavy meds you can't function very well.

Knock off the meds, eat a healthy, natural diet, get a massage and get off your moon and go back to work!

Um, Chuck I have tried to go off every med and was off them for 9 months to get everything out of my system. You have no clue what you are talking about.

I have a vestibular(balance) disease called Meniere's Disease. I already tried the diet modifications, vestibular rehab, a surgery, and meds. None of them worked.

I tried working for 8 years with this disease. You can't work when you have no sense of balance and are vomiting all the time. There are several here with Meniere's Disease so I would suggest doing a google search.

I am to another likely surgical intervention, so don't tell me to get off my lazy ass and go back to work. I worked as long as I possibly could!

Remain persistent Thatgal. It sounds like you have had a difficult road with your disease. I hope you have a good attorney to help you get what you are entitled. Keep you spirits up!

thank you for the kind words of encouragement. I fight everyday and have to fight doctors and stupid state aid to get decent medical treatment.
