I'd vote for instances and time spent with them -recently-.
Another way of doing the ratio is the current orientation of your sexual liking. Averaged, perhaps.

I would say judge it on preference. If you HAD to have a threesome, would you want it to be with 2 girls, one guy and one girl, or 2 guys? 50/50 sexuality would make you want to do it with one guy and one girl I suppose.

What if you want sex with a man and a woman, and two men, separately?
