TZR250 1988 (I race it in a classic series), Fireblade 2000 ex-racebike that only gets used on the track, KTM200EXC off roader, Hornet 600 roadbike - I don't ride too much on the road.

TZR250!! you sound like my kinda gal.

Used to have a Kawasaki ZXR400 but had trouble keeping it below 100mph so my wife forced me to sell it

I don't like it. The backseat is too small for my booty and there isn't enough chrome.

I ride a Honda Shadow. I'll usually wear most of the casual kit - gloves, my Jonny Rebs, jeans and a riding jacket (leather or dri-rider depending on the season - gets hot here!).

Always wear a helmet - it's illegal to ride without one in Australia.

I have a Harley Ultra Classic and a Harley Dyna Low-Rider. I ride every day, as I ride to and from work. Houston weather allows that all year long. My wife and I always wear helmets. In the cold time of the year (for Houston anyway), I wear leather chaps and jacket with leather boots. Wear boots at all times. In summer just wear jeans and t-shirts, unless going to work and wear dress shirt and dress pants. Put the tie on when I get to my work's garage. Change boots for shoes.

And yes, as the "handle" implies, I also wear latex while riding with leather. I've put 100,000 miles on the two bikes so far. Been all over the U. S. and Texas.

I love motorcycles. I had a blue Honda 750 the first year that they came with 4 into 1 exhaust (1975), I rode cross country on it twice from Scottsdale, AZ to Atlantic City, NJ and back. It was such a blast! I came close to buying a sport bike in '79 and '07, but never did it. Eventually, motorcycle fever will get the best of me and I'll buy one. In the meantime, I'm okay with a racing bicycle as my main transportation. 2 wheels rules!

I ride an '07 Harley Road Glide and an '03 Dyna FXDX sport. I'm in Calif so always wear a helmet. I ride coast to coast in 501's commando and anything from a tank top to leather jacket according to the weather. I have leather pants for cooler weather. I also have a '42 Harley WLA and a '78 Harley XLCR. I work on Harleys in my own shop and teach motorcycle riding and I've been know to play around in my shop with favorite customers.

Love seeing guys riding in tight leathers and helmet, particularly with a tinted or mirrored visor. I'm more into the image of race leathers than that easy rider type. I think the combination of leather and helmet with the visor down just adds to the mystique - it's almost like playing with a robot or alien. There are a few reasonably local areas where bikes gather on Sunday afternoons all checking each other's bikes (and each other's leathers) out. Very horny!

I ride. I've had a few bikes but right now I ride an 07 CBR1000RR. Honda is best for my money. I always where a helmet since I crashed badly on my Ninja a few years back and had I not been wearing a jacket and helmet I would certainly have died.

a black & yellow gsxr1500 (see jpeg) wrappin my legs around my bike and feel myself become part of it is like sex. it lives and breathes along with me and makes me hard when i feel it respond and show off it's power.....ok i won't go into how many times it's made me cum....

oh and no offense to you guys that ride H-Ds or choppers, but until you ride a bike that lets u wrap your body around it you're just riding a lawn mower with 2 wheels.

ROFLMAO!!!

My thoughts exactly!!!

I currently own a 1992 Honda CBR600F2 that I bought new and love it.
In a few months, I am getting a 2010 Honda CBR1000RR.

My bikes are a Triumph Daytona 955i and a CBR 600F3.

Minimum gear for commuting is either a leather or textile jacket depending on the temperature, gloves, helmet and boots. When I'm going backroad strafing I'll wear my full leathers with spandex full length tights and a UA shirt. I love the feel of spandex under my leathers. I'm totally shaved, so the spandex also makes it a lot easier to get out of sweaty leathers ;-)

I have a dark blue Yamaha FZ6. Love it, especially in Los Angeles. Lane splitting is legal in California, meaning I can go between cars on the freeway during rush hour. It really cuts down travel times in an overcrowded city.

California has helmet laws, but I don't grudge them any. I'd be wearing my helmet anyway, regardless of the law. Whenever I go on the highway I wear a leather jacket with body armor built into it, gloves, jeans/long pants, and protective footwear. I'm a pretty good rider; I only dropped my bike once when first learning how to ride. But I feel the risk of skimping on safety equipment or riding like a complete maniac isn't worth it (even though I am more aggressive on my bike than I am in my car).

Have to say though, once or twice I've ridden up the street with only the helmet and street clothes late at night and it was exhilarating. I'd compare riding without safety protection to sex without a condom: it's a lot more fun, but you're putting your life at risk.
