Who here hasn't seen at least one episode of Leave it to Beaver. Just heard that Barbara Billingsly the woman who played Mrs. Cleaver passed away at
age 93. It's the passing of an icon. They just don't make them like that anymore. Sad day...but nice to know that her performances will be around
    for a long long time.

"Ward, you were a little rough on the Beaver last night".....

    The perfect 1950s TV Mom.

Yes, how this stuff made it past the censor, we'll never know, :biggrin1:
(Although the original show sponsor was Trojan)

    You mean this lady?

Oh, wait: this is "Mrs. Clover," not Mrs. Cleaver.

As a tribute to Miss B I would like to share my favorite quotes of hers from Leave It To Beaver.
"Oh Ward sometimes I could just shoot the Beaver!"
"Wally you can go to the party as long as you leave the Beaver alone!"
"Ward I've been meaning to tell you I think you were a little rough on the Beaver last night!"
    RIP Miss B.
