    This was a fun find. Was going thru stuff I inherited when a pal passed on and I found this. I had never heard of a stage actress being refered to as Mrs. I haven't had the chance to investigate it yet but here's a pic of the postcard. Interesting find I must say.

    She's famous enough for a Wikipedia entry. Her full name is Minnie Maddern Fiske but was born Marie Augusta Davey. She was always billed simply as, "Mrs. Fiske."

    Apparently she was a very famous stage actress and starred in a lot of Ibsen plays (my kinda gal!). She originated the role of Becky Sharp on Broadway and was a prominent animal rights activist. She retired in 1930 and died two years later at age 67.
