It was something that happened that didn’t air. She explained it on her FR episode 13 recap. You’re so pressed about a black queen that you’re giving off r*cist vibes.
HA HA, First you say watch the episode now you say it happened off camera. I'm not pressed and not racist. I'm calling you out on your bullshit. throwing the racist card at Wes with no evidence. So just because I don't like DaVonne I'm racist? I don't like her bullshit or yours.

He said that Da'Vonne said she was going to get her boys to kill him. And he was proven wrong. He made it up to justify calling her a bad mother.

That's at worst microaggressive to insinuate that a black woman would say "my boys" when she, in fact, hadn't. And also misogynistic because Wes would never have that kind of energy with CT or Cory or Tony because he knows they'd beat his ass.
Perhaps he said her boys cause she has sons? WTF is he supposed to call them? Is Wes an asshole some times. Sure. But he treats everyone like this. Nothing to do with race. Calling people racist and playing the victim is all DaVonne has. boring.

Davonne confronted Wes on the War of the World reunion concerning the argument they had where Davonne said that he should get a knee to his face like the way he told Jenna to put a knee on her face during their elimination. And they played the raw footage and showed thats exactly what she said. So when Wes twisted the words to say she was going to get "her boys" it opened her up to a lot of racist backlash and the sad thing is he should know better.

This is the same guy that got told off by Coral on the Fresh Meat reunion how offensive it was for Black people to be referred to as "colored" by white cast members, regardless to whether or not it was malicious.

Right so Wes can be a dick, He didn't do anything racist. If people EVER challenge DaVonne on any of her bs she calls them racist. Its offensive to people that suffer real, existing, rampant racism that occurs in the US. It diminishes and hurts real progress and opening peoples eyes to the countries systemic racist policies and history. Hurting DaVonne's pride isn't a racist problem.

You can challenge someone without being a dick or racist. You can also not like someone without letting it taint your perception of a situation.

And despite liking Wes(definitely over Bananas) what he did to Davonne was extremely harmful and ironically proves your point of how systemic racism comes to play. It wasn't just the fact that people were calling her job to get her fired and her child taken away from her. Him making a tweet joking that he didn't press charges because she apologized to him off camera insinuated that she's a criminal. And if the allegations of some of the producers trying to get her to admit fault for saying something that the tape later showed she didn't shows a bias. Sure we can say he's a fan favorite and it has nothing to do with race.Same thing with the comments Bananas and Vince were making towards Cheyenne on Rivals 3.

But let's consider for a moment that this came to light last summer during the protests. Dee was PERMANENTLY banned from the show due to ignorant comments she made on twitter, you think people would look at Wes' actions as "just being a dick?"

Please don't talk about "real racism", and "systemic racism" only to lack any sort of empathy or consideration on the basis of you not liking the person.

And I can end this by saying that there are things about Davonne that I don't like. I think she does a disservice to herself when she says that she peeps people being shady but still allows herself to be victimized by their behavior like she did on BB22. That doesn't take away from what Wes actions on WOTW1 or some of the producers behavior after the fact.

Ah, No comment on the other points? Can we just get back to posting pics of MTV guys. Branding Wes as a racist is false. wes.png

Did Wes call her job? Is Wes a producer? Did Wes make comments towards Cheyenne? If you keep hurling the racist accusation at every person that has a confrontational interaction with a POC. It diminishes any hope of stopping the real instances. Boy who cried Wolf.

I don't care about the other points or this argument in general. I'm just pointing out the fact that she doesn't have sons.
Then according to these other posters you must be a racist for mentioning she doesn't have sons. How dare you.

By that same logic, Dee didn't call Bailey's job. Dee didn't personally make a racist comment that was directly targeted at Bailey. And yet she was still permanently banned and Wes was so "appalled" by her behavior that he made a post saying that he immediately asked her to leave his home once he became aware of what transpired.

So............... lol

Quite the opposite.Since you seemed sincere about not diminishing systemic racism and implicit biases, I wanted to give you opportunity to show your disagreement stemmed from something other than just not liking Davonne. But it seems like that's where the basis of your argument is coming from so we're not going to get anywhere with this topic.

Best to move on then.

What happened in this recap was what JOSS did....What WES did was put out a tweet saying “Da’Vonne’s boys” was gonna kill him, but at the WOTW reunion it should the uncut footage showing that she never said she was gonna have him killed. He over exaggerated what she said and put words in her mouth and made it like she said it in a “ghetto slang language” saying she was gonna have someone hurt him to that extent, and he let his racist ass fans like you attack her, a beautiful Black women, with racial slurs, so yeah Wes is suspect for what he did. At the end of the day Da’Vonne still gets calls for The Challenge and keeps declining (partially because of what he did knowing he’s a production’s fav), but none of that is relevant to this site. Queen Day will always be queen. <3

No. When Wes said that, he wasn't referring to her "sons" since he knew that she doesn't have any. He and everybody else knew what he meant when he said that, and he was obviously referring to Da'Vonne saying she'd get people to handle Wes when she never said that.
