now that i have paramount+, i've been touching up on my challenge herstory by watching all stars & binging older challenge seasons.
and as a 19 y/o who has only been watching since bloodlines, i gotta say that the cast of the older seasons were SO charming. idk, like everyone was so relaxed more relatable, and just charismatic. even villains like beth, danny, and BANANAS for fucks sake.
i've only finished gauntlet 2 & the duel so far, but i am absolutely in love with ruthie, derrick k, diem, and adam.

i now understand why people say the current seasons suck in comparison. i genuinely think adam larson is one of the most beautiful people ever. idk why, just gazing into his eyes during his confessionals was my favorite highlight of gauntlet 2. (i also can't help but notice that limp wrist too).

There was a time when you didn't have to be a roided-up meathead to be on the challenge. I miss seeing guys who were naturally fit and active rather than the zero personality gym bunnies we get now.

I guess now he know he wasn't lying back when he was disqualified for not wanting to wear a speedo because he said he was hung as a horse.
Ace was on Challenge Mania talking about that challenge and said Alton has the biggest dick he has ever seen. That it basically looked like he had a belt on . That’s if I’m remembering the wording correctly about his reference of it

i just really like that in the old seasons, all the arguments and drama just seemed natural. now everything seems so overproduced and showoff-y.
it is so fun watching the older seasons when they didn't spend most of the episodes at nightclubs and showing people fucking on night cameras.
