Nah I'm actually worried for him because he's dealt with a lot of mental health issues throughout his life and has attempted to end his life multiple times. The public shaming could really push him over the edge. I hope he's got people around him that he can turn to.

Yep, these men come to him and pay him (probably a lot) to dehumanised them, and unfortunately that sometimes includes race. That's what the kink is. It's personally not for me and I don't understand it, but each to their own I guess. I think it's more for their satisfaction than his own.

I feel the same way.
He needs a support system.
So many people suffer in silence, and I hope Murad is healing from his mental health issues.
I also feel that everyone kink shaming him is unacceptable - however, I do understand people addressing his brand not matching his racial statements; it does skew people's perception of him.

Unpopular Opinion: I actually believe that there is room for (some form of) raceplay within a dom/sub kink relationship. As long as it is consensual and all parties are aware that this applies only within this particular context. As far as where the line draws before entering truly racist/ prejudice territory.....idk. But my guess is it's a pretty thin line.
Oh, and most of those "twitter doms" and "findoms" are a sham. Cosplaying as doms in order to get people to pay their bills. IMO, true dom/sub relationships are less about the money exchanges and more about the act of allowing both parties to be vulnerable with each other.

I have a raceplay kink but have never acted on it (as I'm in a long distance, polyamorous relationship).

Like some people are more mad at their racist actions being called out than the actual racism and think its like a genetic trait when called out, vs behavior to be adjusted.
